what a year for a new year.
i haven't updated in some time. i guess i haven't been doing anything all that exciting lately.

i had a voice recital and messed up a lot.
i'm trying out for seussical but i haven't really prepared at all. go me.
i've kind of decided that i want to go to college for history and singing. i really want to go to new york for college but i'm not sure that it will happen.

break has been pretty low key. i've just seen a lot of movies and baked things.

it's a new year and i don't really feel excited for anything. new years eve was alright, i was in a weird mood for no real reason. i didn't make a new years resolution because i never keep them anyway. last year this time i was feeling like this: http://janie-d.livejournal.com/2006/01/02/. now i'm just kind of floating around. i wish i could be really excited about something but it seems i've set all of my expectations low, and i guess that is a good and bad thing.
